How Clickronix Uses Google API Data
This page explains what Google account and Google Ads data may be accessed, why it is needed, how it supports Clickronix features, and how users control access.
1. Google services used
Clickronix may use Google Sign-In and Google Ads API services when a customer chooses to connect a supported Google Ads account. Access is initiated by the user and limited to the permissions displayed during Google authorization.
2. Data Clickronix may access
Depending on the features enabled and permissions approved, Clickronix may access:
- Google account identity needed to complete sign-in or identify the connected user;
- Google Ads customer and account identifiers;
- campaign, ad-group, keyword, ad, click, status, and performance context available to the authorized account;
- settings needed to display or manage supported traffic-protection actions, such as user-configured IP exclusion workflows;
- connection metadata needed to maintain and secure the integration.
3. Why the data is needed
Clickronix uses authorized Google Ads data to connect the selected advertising account, map tracked website visits to available campaign context, organize suspicious traffic by account or campaign, generate traffic-quality reports, and perform supported actions configured by an authorized user.
4. Data combined with Clickronix tracking
Campaign context may be analyzed alongside Clickronix event data such as click identifiers, timestamps, landing-page information, IP address, country or region, ISP, ASN, VPN or proxy indicators, browser, operating system, device type, user agent, session duration, navigation behavior, repeated-click frequency, and customer-configured conversion or lead outcomes.
5. How Clickronix does not use Google data
Clickronix does not use Google Ads access to generate clicks, create fake traffic, manipulate auctions, impersonate Google, or sell Google user data. Clickronix does not use Google data for unrelated advertising or profiling outside the user-facing Clickronix features described on this website.
6. Storage and security
Google-connected data is protected through authentication, access controls, encryption in transit, secure infrastructure access, logging, and operational safeguards. Retention follows the Data Retention Policy and customer account settings.
7. Sharing
Clickronix does not sell Google user data. Contracted service providers may process limited data on Clickronix instructions when needed to host, secure, support, or operate the service. Applicable providers are described on the Subprocessors page.
8. User control
Users can disconnect a Google account inside Clickronix, revoke Clickronix access through Google Account permissions, and request deletion through the Data Deletion page or by contacting support@clickronix.com.
9. Google API Services User Data Policy
Clickronix’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
